The course consists of 4 main components:
Construction of a light vehicle
In this part of the program, participants will learn the construction and working principles of a light vehicle.
Basics of electricity
In this part of the program, participants will learn the principles of power generation and construction, the principles of operation of various electrical components, as well as the principles and principles of operation of basic electrical components of the vehicle, such as the starter and generator.
Engine electrics
Participants will learn the electrical and electronic systems of the engine. They will get to know the structure, structural features and working principles of various electrical components of the engine.
communication lines
Participants will learn what it takes to communicate electronically between different vehicle systems. Each structure, advantages and application specifics will be discussed.
Detailed description of the program
Construction of a light vehicle (80 hours)
- Light vehicle classification brands, key aggregates resource.
- Active and passive safety systems of the vehicle
- Electronic systems used in the suspension and steering mechanism: pneumatics, electric stabilizers, electric shock absorbers, electric power steering. Electrohydraulic power steering.
- Brake systems: hydraulic, electro-hydraulic.
- Electronic driving safety technologies; (ESP, ABS, TRC, DAC)
- automatic, variator, robotic, two-speed gearboxes;
- All-wheel drive systems: 4X4, 4WD, AWD, HALDEX.
- Internal combustion engine types: working principle, classification, lubrication, cooling;
- Fuel supply system types: direct, indirect;
- Turbo and supercharger types, working principles, classification;
- Exhaust system and catalytic analyzer for gasoline and diesel engines; BLUETEC, DPF.

- Structure and working principle of circuit components and semiconductors.
Engine electrical and electronic systems (40 hours)
- Ignition systems: classification, structure and oscillation.
- Fuel injection systems: classification, structure and oscillation.
- Fuel supply systems: classification, structure and oscillation.
- Electrical components for air supply and regulation.
- Classification and oscillation of counting sensors.
- Delivery and analysis of sensors and control module signals.
- Classification, specificity and oscillation of oxygen sensors.
- Construction and purpose of the nitrogen oxide sensor.
- Exhaust circulation system.
- Components of regulation of gas distribution systems.
Communication lines (10 hours)
- Topology of electronic control modules of modern cars.
- Communication needs and specifications between management modules.
- Types of communication methods
- LIN protocol and its working principle.
- СAN protocol and its working principle.
- FLEXRAY protocol and its working principle.
- MOST protocol and its working principle.
